    when you create ads it says:

    example if somebody searched, find deals on hawaii vacations
    you can replace hawaii, with {keyword} or whatever the code is, and it'll bring up the keyword that the person searched with.

    am I doing this correct?

    I want to use cities, so I typed in, "dallas", but when it shows the preview of my ad in my control panel it says, "dallas" so is this what people are going to see, or are they going to see whatever city they typed in?

    This is my understanding:

    If your title is: Great Deals on {keyword: Vacations}
    and a person does a search on: Hawaiian vacations
    then they see: Great Deals on Hawaiian Vacations

    ...unless their search term would cause the title to exceed the max length of a title (40 chars) so...
    if a person does a search on: planning Hawaiian family vacation
    then they see: Great Deals on Vacations

    ...where the term you place after the ":" is used to keep the title under the max length.

    At least thats how they explained it to me.
