Insert Google Analytical code in Joomla 1.5.22

I have a site which is made at Joomla 1.5.22, i am optimizing this site but don't know how can insert GA code and verification code and xml site map.
please help me..........

First, you should upgrade to the last version of Joomla 1.5, 1.5.23.

Then you can use a plugin to GA code

xml sitemaps can be done by joomsef component or xmap or manually

you can use the plugins without upgrading but this update should be harmless to website
