Insert ads in a vB Forum

I'm searching for an ad management system for a vBulletin forums.

I have only found options for banner rotator type systems but what I want is to be able to dispaly text ads, google adsense code etc.

These Digital Point vB forums display adsense and text and banner ads woven between the posts in the threads.

Could someone please tell me what ad manager is used here at Digital Point as well as any other recomendations?

    Thanks for the help

ad_locations are built into vbulletin already, have you checked it out yet?

Thanks Viper and Loco for your help.

If DP is using an ad manger that only is designed to serve adsense ads then that won't work for my situation.

Thanks for the VB org link viper - I had checked that out as well. Unfortunately that project has been abandoned - the develper has not been around since Dec 07.

And re ad_locations - my searches turned that up as well - unfortunately they are just in the new versions of VB not in my version 3.5.4 which has so many mods I'm reluctant to upgrade.

Thanks anyhow and if anyone knows how to do this in VB 354 please let me know.

    See this: www.redtyger.co.uk

It's really great mod (hack). Keep looking for it on the website, it's not clearly marked xD

I'm using it on my website (in the signature)

The mod Bob Mill told you to look for is the same as the link I gave you.
It should work for your version, try it. If it doesn't work then you can always uninstall it.
The process should be simple thanks to vBulletin's great modding system.
