That domain does seem to have quite a formidable link profile but most of the links look like forum and comment spam. Also that domain doesn't seem to be indexed in Google any more, or am I wrong?

Hence the low price. I purchased it recently from Google Auctions for $25, it is not currently indexed, but you can file a reinclusion request. There is even a part of the form that asks if you just acquired the domain. Sometimes that is enough for reinclusion in Google. It is indexed in Yahoo though and again is very powerful. There are still many uses for these domains for those who know what they are doing. I don't like to giveaway my secrets but you can 301 the domain, you can build more links to try to even out the anchor text, etc. It is still included in SEOMoz so you would get a boost of link juice and Domain Authority on Open Site Explorer. Remember Google is not the only game in town. This Domain has LINK Juice out the ass. Any SEO who knows their shit could get a serious boost from this. I just haven't had time to look into it due to other projects. That is why I am liquidating a portion of my link profile for next to nothing. Thanks for your question!

 

Yup agreed it might be a bit of a gamble but for someone wanting to kickstart a classifieds or local directory for Austin Texas - it might be worth trying. You'd have to use the new disavow tool to trim some of the dead wood from that link profile. I'm going to stick a $10 bid in on that understanding
