Hi, Does anyone noticing this or is it just happening to me? Does it involve vendor cheating us in any ways? I just saw that two of the products that I'm promoting have weird stats. One of the product has the "Order form impression count" as 87 and "Net sales" as 1. Is it normal? Why would 87 people click the "Order now" button and only one giving us sales? I thought maybe the vendor didn't specify the price in the order page and hence out of curiosity, many are clicking the "order now" button, It is not the case with that product. Another of my product, when I started, had 2 sales in the first two "Order form impression count" and now I have around 50 "Order form impression count" and no more sales out of it. Could someone explain it please? Any reason for this anomaly?
Some of the products i promote have 50 order form impressions for 1 sale. And others are averaging 4 for 1 sale? Confuses me to.
i hate to click at my cb analytics. i never even look at it cuz if i do it makes me sad when i see lot of click throughs but no sell.
I have been pretty close to that rate myself and really don't know what's happening. After mailing clickbank they've said that there might be some credit card failures or processing and really that isn't an excuse for such a horrible rate of 100:1. I will take a deeper look into this issue and hope to come up to a conclusion as for now this is another way to prove that clickbank isn't perfect / stealing commissions.
Peoples credit cards fail all the time. Others are curious they want to see if they can get through with false info. One reason used to be they didn't fill out the form all the way but they fixed that with a pop up instead of getting an impression thats wasted. Mike
Lord knows I've tried. People seem to be blind, scared or Stupid, but there's no end to posts like this. One more thing. Conveniently, Clickbank frowns on this (I wonder why?). Offer your customers a free, related product when they purchase. This may reveal customers that have purchased an item, but are not showing sales with Dickbank (excuse me, Clickbank).
