My site (www.pakistanmobileprices.com) had a bounce rate of 8% from 2700 visitors per day but from April 7th there is a huge jump in bounce rate and it has gone upto 50% and from last 10 days its stable at over 50%. There is no error or popup or redirect on this site so I am not sure why is there such huge jump in bounce rate all of sudden.

    See the screenshot.. bounce rate.JPG

So that means you have traffic from some source. Check it out where you have a big jump from your incoming visitors. What page is it? Is it organic Google traffic? If not, what's the source? You can completely check this out with Analytics, so I suggest to take a look at that.

My point of view is that you have used some kind of link farms?

Also be aware that Analytics isn't 100% correct, but..yeah, that's a weird increase!

no I am not using traffic from any specific links, its all organic google traffic. The weired thing is that all keywords are same and its just the bounce rate that has increased all of a sudden...

Are you doing reciprocal link exchange for this site? This can be another reason to increase the bounce rate.

Try to place the price of the mobile on the right hand side of the image instead on top left. Even i found it tough to find the price, how would other users could be doing it anyway ?

Another thing is that, there is no point in showing all mobiles on 1 single page unless you good filters set on the left navigation panel. And by filters I mean AJAX controls and not links to other pages.

Hope this would be a good start to reduce the bounce rate.

David.rew1164.. No I am not doing any reciprocal link exchange.

norprowebstore: I understand what you are saying and I know this site doesn't have very good user experience but this site is about 3 years old and this huge jump all of a sudden is something I am unable to understand.

Sympathize your problem. I can associate such effect only in one case, if you change your design to horrible one. Bounce rate, also have corelation with traffic quality. For example rss-traffic on my sites often have bounce rate 80-90%. Wish you solve this problem.
