I use two monitors a lot. I have email up on one screen and web browser on the other.

I also do a lot of website editing. I have the website on one screen then the .php file open in notepad on the other. Very very helpful.

I wish I could just get those two monitors for $150 each, I don't need the computer. Maybe I should buy that and ebay the computer by itself....

you are going to work so much faster. (programming, writing, almost everything)

and you can use one monitor to browse the net and the other one for IM, itune and other stuff.

But 2x 22" and WIDE aren't too much? I mean it would be a bit moving with head (left-right), several hours like that and your neck might pain :D
But I like the idea too, I wanted 2x 24" but seems expensive (also GFX won't be cheap to handle that much pixels)

24" and 22" is totally different monitor. The higher resolution make 24" much bigger than 22"

2x22" is a bit too much though. a 15" and a 24" is a good combination for me
