I have a paypal business account and selling digital goods instant download against payment on site, paypal sent me a mail regarding my website last transaction, "We have placed a temporary hold on the funds until the investigation is complete"

Did you have encountered this problem earlier and tell me what happened to your received payment?

Maybe they found something suspecious in your last transaction (like payment from stolen account or something like that). Better you call them and clear this thing.

Very much possible that some one has sent you funds from a hacked account. Most probably paypal will reverse those funds.

I have experienced it. They will return the funds to the account (sender).

Just call them up, and ask them to refund the seller.

It may also be that Paypal has started to enforce stricter rules on online businesses and instant downloads. There have been recent reports that Paypal has to check a businessman's records and would need to report to the IRS.

Block all countries except for the UK, US and Canada. You will have less fraud.
