I believe that we all can agree that SEO, Marketing, and SERP’s value of blogging, writing articles, and submission of press releases. What I would like to have some insight or input about submitting the same article to multi places. Would it be wise to tweak the page copy for each submission? Would submitting the same information in multi places dilute the value of the article or been seen as duplicate content? Thank you for your input.

blkg35, duplicate articles cannot hurt you, at long as it's outside of your site. Otherwise people won't bother doing SEOs, but spam their competitor's site to death. Duplicate contents will get filtered, with each identical or simliar article (so if you change a few words, still counts as duplicate) stacked together. Say if you do 500 submissions of the same articles, eventually that could collapse into 5 in the search results, but rank juice and relevancy score do stack, so go ahead, submit to more than one.

From what I understand after google finds one article that is unique it is labeled unique and after that the if the article if found elsewhere it is considered duplicate content and the links within the duplicate content lose authority. Please correct me if I am wrong, but it is better to write unique articles for each article directory.

yes, for sure that would be very wise. google is notorious for its duplicate content filter these days and will deindex the pages that are duplicate so hard to tell how many backlinks you will actually get. depending on how many directories you submit to, you can either tweak it manually or if you submit to lot of directories, you can use a content spinner to spin the articles around

I disagree. Google will index the same article dozens (if not hundreds) of times and give you link love for them all. The same thing happens with press releases. I've put out press releases for companies I've worked for and seen that release give us link juice from dozens to hundreds of locations across the web. The content may be duplicate, but a link is a link.

Don't worry. Google rejects large amount of your links from poor pages without any hurt to your site. And without any advantages too. :) So I think better to make effort to create new content but spend time to send spam without advantages.

try my article-profile sites at the footer of this message.
