I do. And 90% of OSX users do. It displays the same as Firefox (Which isn't displaying very well.)

"we will do it for $80 both (design + html)"
 Are you starving or something?

To effectively create a web presence for that demographic, that actually serves some sort of brand related purpose, would take at the very least 10 hours. Which puts you working for 8 dollars an hour.

I would not expect any professional to touch this thread with people selling their soul to arbitrarily pump stuff out.

If you want that done right, with purpose and measurable results, $1500 at a absolute minimum. It's a hotel, they can pay for it.

The above posters bid is not competitive, its completely absurd. I don't care what country your from either.

Do you take into account that all those images are stuck in a flash file?..... That the site is plugged into a booking facility of some sort to check availabilty? Did you even bother to look at it?

    Nigel

EDIT: For clarification, I was not yelling at the thread starter. I was sorta talking to two people at once; in an obvious attempt to not have to pitch my monitor out the window.
Clean, slick design, that you sign off on first, with proper SEO and standards compliant, accessible markup.... 2,000 U.S. 750 dollar deposit.

That said, there are some fantastic designers in Au. likely in your neck of the woods as well.

Do you want the html version to look like the flash version? Do you have access to the images used in the flash version?

Just to respond to the post made by Nigel.

If you had shown some more interest in the Project, you could have found out that every image that is on the flash site, I have available for the designer. Every logo used, i have. And what you thought to be "some kind of availabiltiy checking script", Your obviously not in the Tourism industry, as you would know, those scripts are provided by the reservation systems used in hotels, and is merely a link to their secure server, that simply sends a booking straight to our reservations systems.

So only what is needed is a design, all the content is written.. all the images are there... all the "scripts" are provided.

I am sorry but that is still a 2,000 dollar job to do it properly. Otherwise, you will wind up with a non compliant mess. You will discover that soon enough. And for the record, I live in a ski resort, have worked for and dealt with booking agents, and have addressed this sort of demographic repeatedly.
