adbrite pays very low. But no one can tell what work best for you. You have to try out a few networks and judge which one works best.
i would suggest a few networks for 1000 genuine ad impressions. try out a few this way and decide on which is best.
if you have good traffic try out buysellads.com its a banner marketplace.

 

for such small sites, cpc can't really earn much, best is CPM or CPV (pop)

Some CPM might pay way high rates, but with net 30-45 days payment once should be careful with such sites
