Initial Stock Exchange Investment?

    Hello!

    Anyone here into stock exchange market? I am actually interested in this so I am reading a bunch of articles regarding it. For now, my biggest question for those who are on stock market is how much did you initially invest? I mean how much do you think is the ideal amount for me to be able to play around the market and be able to hang around a bit for me to get my feet wet? I am thinking maybe $300 USD to start? No?

    The right amount is what you can afford to lose and consider it to be the downpayment on an investment education. Note that you can "play" in a stock exchange for no cost (just pretend to buy and track your investment over time) and do the same thing.
