I understand why people would hesitate to work with in-house affiliate programs, especially a newer company. What sort of factors or perks would put you over the edge in deciding to partner with an in-house program? Anybody have great success with in-house programs as an affiliate? I would think that they would provide a ton of support. Thanks! amie
Hi Amie, I know affiliates that actually prefer inhouse programs. Some want that closer relationship and some just don't like networks.
I actually prefer working with networks, but also know some that prefer to work directly in-house with companies. I guess as 5star said you get a closer relationship and therefore the actual merchant knows more about your site and what your doing and therefore you may have the higher chance of talking up commissions and all that or getting quicker payouts or even discounts on their products and services.
