I recently got an infraction for starting a thread about a Google PageRank checker in the Google forum, the thread was moved to other tools, what does this mean? If I get another infraction I am banned? This seems a little harsh to me I mean I wasn't even aware there was an other tools forum, I guess untill now I didn't really think about these things I just thought it was a fun place to chat to other Webmasters, I might understand if it was talking about the weather in the Google forum but I was talking about a Google PageRank prediction tool, does anybody else think this is a little bit harsh or out of order?
How many infractions do you have? If you have 10 then you'll get a ban... also it was because your post was in the wrong section. (don't worry about it.. it'll expire.. if you're not sure where to post a thread next time, just ask.)
Infractions really aren't a big deal, just a way to guide users to acceptable use. This is in the wrong forum, you may get another one
8everything - 10 sounds very resonable it is not as bad as I thought. PalSys - LOL - Should it be in Suggestions and Feedback? Takes the mick a bit doesn't it, me complaining about geting an infraction for posting in the wrong forum in the wrong forum!
Yeah... and the infraction will probably expire by then. Anyways, next time.. maybe don't create a thread about this? (Just a warning because you might get hit w/ red reps) and this does suit the suggestions and feedback section better. Don't worry about the infraction everyone else gets them too including myself!
