Infractions - Please Read

Thanks for saving me the time and actually pointing it out yourself.

 

LOL Sorry, I know it's not funny, but this just cracks me up. This thread is the Bermuda Triangle in the world of DP.

As an experiment, I tried clicking the "Report Post" icon on one of my own posts.. Turns out, I CAN report myself for a infractable (is that a word) post.

But I CANNOT give myself rep...

Has anyone ever reported themselves?

 

If they keep doing that, they'll go blind.

 

you can report your post if you want a thread closed, or .. if you feel like you deserve an infraction

Thank you for the explanation... I never even would have thought of those reasons. That makes perfect sense.

But what about the rep? What if I wanted to red rep myself? And if I could would I lose another point for doing it, on top of what I lose in terms of rep power against myself?

Again, makes sense.. That all may apply to this thread..

Man, I got drug in here kicking and screaming.... I was on the OG list, (you know, OLD SCHOOL mailing list... ) It was hard to make the transition to forum initially... Who would have known it would come to this?

 

Would a mod be able to comment on the 2 infractions I got and explain why a buyers post was deleted?

I mentioned it a page or two ago.

What I know is that apparently the Shrek dude posted a BIN, and then his post is gone and I have 2 infractions because of Brennan and the ShrekDude (i got the emails about it... and shrek isn't his name, its something along those lines and is hard to remember lol)

I was in another city for a job interview when this was all going on.

I want to know:
- Why a buyers post was deleted
- How I got 2 infractions even though I wasn't even here

i have opened a thread in a category it belonged. and i think the moderator moved it because he didn't understand the meaning of what i wonted.
how can i see who gave me the Infraction? and explain to him why it should be removed.
