Infractions - Please Read

The "welcome to dp" post was predicated with a negative comment about the fact that people from other countries are posting their "introductions"...

I'm assuming...

I think post count in intro section should be disabled.

thre's one guy who also copy pastes his 'welcomes', but i'm guessing because he only does it twice or three times a day his posts remain.

 

I also support this idea. Setting "Count Posts Made in this Forum Towards User Post Counts" to "No" on the introductions forum edit page would solve it. A couple of clicks to go, really.

 

its quiet sad thing tht i got bad rep for putting a fact in thread, there is a designer who did not read TOS and used other's designers work and added text and sold them as logo , i mentioned the logos and the orginal designer link in his thread so that people are aware , but in return i get a bad rep as harrasement

 

smyrl thank you , but do you think would that keep people informed what he is doing ? i mean the people who order logo's , but i think i will try to make a new thread but i feel i did not deserve that infraction

 

You've got to live with it. Doesn't cost you money to receive an infraction. Learn the lesson if any, and move on. At the end of the day, it's just you and the forum mods who see your infractions list. We don't.

 

Can't these be edited to "Welcome to Crazy_Rob's nightmare"

That is pretty much the best suggestion I have seen in this thread. How about also disabling the signature in those threads?

 

Would be nice, too. Only I don't think that is possible. Just checked on available options and disabling signature display doesn't seem to be there.

 

Shawn can always create a new hack for that.

 

I would guess someone at vB community forums has already suggested this. When it comes to vBulletin where updates can be a pain sometimes, going for custom hacks may cost Shawn more time than usual on future upgrades

Running Up Post Count/Post Has No Value

In future, will consider myself to post valuable content.

 

After your ban is up, your infractions stay right? So how many infractions are you limited to getting after that?

 

This post is a couple of minutes old.
And the guy is banned. Does this mean banned people can still post or is this a fresh ban made something like a minute ago?

 

it is a vB bug, it should say I am not banned by tomorrow (Crazy Rob answered with the same reply in my other thread).
