infractions like crazy!

I got an infraction for this thread/post.. Wow.

 

Yep, you get that when you make infraction threads while there's an infraction sticky at the top.

 

Make sure to read the stickies,been like this for quite a while now.

 

It was posted in another section, not here.

 

What's the point of Private Infractions?

Are they only given if the threads been deleted, or can they be given because the mod feels like it at the time?

I got one just a minute ago and i'm totally clueless why or what it's about... So what i've learnt is absolutely nothing. Seems pretty pointless to me.

 

The reason it's private is because the post that hasn't been marked for an infraction has been deleted by the mod. Like a bump for example.

 

Edit: Ahh never mind okies it was a mistake, it got reversed on it's own. I just had a look in my CP and the mod left a note with a Green Rep saying it was in error. Thanks mate, i usually try to help people and didn't think i'd acted up in any way.
