Infractions - How can i avoid them?

Currently i'm posting a fair amount in the link sales section of the forum. I've had two infractions in the past week, one for posting a duplicate thread and now today one for bumping a thread.

Whats a link buyer to do?

Orginally i started a new thread as my old thread was looking for slightly different links originally. - I get an infraction...

Next time instead of starting a new thread, i bump the old one and guess what i get an infraction for doing that too!

Please can the mods / admins advise me what they want me to do then!!!

Quite simply don't bump. If your thread is drifting back to page 10 just accept that no-one is interested in what you're selling. You can link to your thread from your signature space to maintain a bit of exposure.

Likewise don't make a duplicate thread selling the same thing. If you want to make a second thread make the conditions slightly different to the first and ask for the first to be closed.

And don't comment in sales threads either - only ask questions directly related to the deal (that haven't already been answered). Don't lead the thread off topic or slate the deal publicly (even if it is shite).

I think that just about covers BST.

So i just keep picking up infractions which are in my opinion completely pointless?

By the way i'm not selling things, i'm usually buying links.

People don't post in the threads as i ask them to PM me... so there is usually interest but this is not reflected in the thread.
