Hey Guys, I wanted to ask this from long.. so thought of doing it today... I was given a infraction in mid of FEB which had a reason 'thread hijacking' but it did not have much information... What does this mean, i never hacked a thread.. I want explanation on this.. below is screen capture for broader veiw: Please guys assist me
Vesica, but i never did that... the person giving infraction should point me out where i did that.. what is the rule of infraction.. in case if you know.. i am very eager to know.. as i would not like any infractions on me.. when i didn't do anything...
Thread hijacking means - you are posting a request/offer on someone else' buy/sell thread.. You can see the details in email they send - not on DP
thread hijaking comes mainly in the buy sell secion, you just have 29 posts, so it won't be hard to understand which thread it was, in the infraction, a link to the thread is available, but then if the thread is deleted, then the thread link is not available, i think this is your case. if someone, for example, is selling sometime at $5, and you reply on his thread that you can provide it in $4, then it is known as thread hijack, it is yellow infraction, 0 points, never heared of this kind of infration, i don't think you get these in the buy sell secion, perhaps you got it somewhere else, anyways wait till it expires, and that's it.

This board is filled with pseudo-netnannies and teenagers waiting to pass out negative reps. I would not sweat it. I got a negative for offering a complementary service in a thread and they accused me of hijacking a thread. It is a case of small people with too much free time.
but it is only a yellow infraction so why are u worrying ? it is just warning nothing else take it easy
that means your distrubing some other thread for example if im selling a script for 5$ if reply i will sell that for only 2$ that come under hijack
