I read on this distinguishable Forum that it is a series of (-)ve infractions letters totaling 10(ten)points which earn a registered member an absolute ban.

So I heaved a sigh of relief when I remembered my 1(one) point(s) worth infraction e-mail letter received from the hawk eyed Digital Point.com webmaster. At least I was 9(nine) points away.

My suggestion or feedback would be that this great and honorable Forum introduces a 'special' communication code specifically for first timers in the system(i.e. dp.com Forum,) doing their first post or thread.

So that after all is said and done by the Webmaster, the language has been toned down and the Newbies don't feel as if they are guilty of treason or sedition in normal human governments.

The private rights of all the Forum's official members and guests should be respected. I can not support or vote with global citizens of this Forum wherever they may be worldwide who choose to use or apply distasteful language (words,) and when such an action has precipitated fear. Indeed so may feel threatened by loose and careless phrases.

Infraction letters from the Webmaster for all straying Newbies should not discourage them for joining, or appear to make them feel like jumping from their skin to escape and find solace from broken rules.

1/10 is "one tenth" and I need another 9/10 (nine tenths) more points to be declared an OutKast (Banned) from the Forum for disrespecting important and intelligent global citizens some of whom are professionals in wide ranging fields.

May the Almighty God of Israel help me. He is my only help and I will earnestly hope and hope again twice that this writings wont deserve a letter. I beg to be forgiven if the Webmaster doesn't like this too.

The Supremacy of the Law of Tort and Defamation (or Libel) is sacrosanct in many world nations. It (The Law of respecting others reputation,) is recognized even in East Africa's Republic of Kenya.

One can be sued in a Court of Law and if convicted can be heavily fined or, be send behind bars or both. The Digital Point Forum like a Dad who loves his children should not tolerate "roguish" or negligent newbies. To spare the rod is to spoil the child...may we all stand in our positions. May we all respect each other's legal rights.

Thank you for reading to the end.

Woah. You're pretty much taking Infractions a bit too seriously.

Infractions are mere warnings, nothing more - nothing less. In the first place, being a newbie like yourself, ONE must be aware of the rules if you are quite new to a certain community. Getting an infraction only shows that you don't quite know the rules here.

IF a new member gets an instant 10 point infraction and the BAN title then that most likely means that it is a duplicate account.

Infractions as well do expire - how it works? One of our mods will be able to answer this one. ;)

Bottomline - If you're new then better read the rules if you don't want an unwanted warning or in other words, an infraction. They are not placed to scare away new members BUT to make them aware that there are certain rules that ALL members should follow.

Infractions are a message to the member to pay more attention to what they're doing and to take more care. That's it.

If people choose to ignore them and they end up getting 10 points and a temporary ban then maybe they'll be more careful when they return.

This may seem offensive but to me it sounds like you're trowing words from the wrong orifice . What does God have to do whit a Internet forum ? I'm not entirely familiar whit the baning policy but 10 infractions lead to a 6 month ban .

As for newbies , if you're capable of building a website from scratch , publish it and monetize on it , you should have the intelligence required to understand how a on-line community works . We're not a bunch of kids in the 1st grade and most of us are making a at least 30$ per day (minimum - minimorum IMO) . I think we're wise enough not to be scared away by the 1st dum thing we do . I think that people are turned off by the wave of stupidity that oozes from a lot of threads . I for one don't know how much I'll be able to take threads like "Hy bro howe u guugly me ars $ click (insert malware link here)"

Well they act as an warning telling members that they are doing something which they shouldn't.
BTW, infractions do get expired sometimes.

I feel that the whole system with infractions is good and it helps keep the forum working.
Though I do also feel that some infractions I have gotten are uncalled for, such as "running up post count".
I try to only post quality posts and be helpful but sometimes I get infractions for it and that really makes
    me sad.

However all infactions expires withing a month or three I think. So if you got many infractions on you and
you do not want to get banned, meybe you should take a break from DP, read the rules again and come back later.
Atleast that's better then getting banned. :)

Once you get 10 infractions, you don't get banned for 6 months.

If your 1st infraction expires 1 minute after receiving your 10th infraction, you will be banned for a measly one minute!
