Infraction - How? Please explain!

    Hi Mods,

    I have found 2 infractions. I don't know how they occurred but do let me know to be more careful in future:

    Infractions:
    1. Private
    Reason: Inappropriate / Disallowed Post

    2. Affordable Link...
    Reason: Inappropriate / Disallowed Post

    What would be the penalty on such infractions and how can I save myself from any penalties in future?

    You should have received a PM describing the reason of both unless you opted out from receiving messages from mods/admins.

    One infraction was for offering a blog commenting service which is not allowed.
    The other infraction was for a post in a sales thread that was germane only to you and thread starter.

    I suggest you go to http://forums.digitalpoint.com/profile.php?do=editoptions and check the box Receive Infraction Notifications

    I've once received an infraction, but didn't receive any pm stating the reason of it. The infraction was because i post something with my Indonesian language, but i also made a translation of it in English. Since i didn't receive the pm, could it be reversed?

    I did it just after registering here

    Thanks mod, really appreciate it. But do let me know about what penalty(ies) I should be confronting against such infractions? Also, I didn't get the sales thread infraction? What was that about???

    I thought such a thread complaining about why one gets an infarction is not allowed? haha..to the OP, just be more careful when post a thread or even a reply to the thread coz i once got an infarction for bumping an old thread which i replied after few people replied/bump on the old thread (meaning i am not the one who bump the thread as the thread appeared in "new post"). Maybe you had the same thing as mine? Just be more careful in the date of the thread i guess :)

    If your post does not add value to other members you should ask via pm, questions that will help others can be asked but if not then use pm.

    To avoid further infractions read the FAQ and stickies.

    Your sales/service thread infraction was for offering Affordable Link Building Services which included blog commenting. Blog commenting services are not allowed.
