Infraction from February - Give me a break and get up to speed!

I don't know what kind of ganja the mod who gave me the infraction is smoking
but clearly they aren't all there and shouldn't be a mod if they are clearly this
clueless.

I received an infraction for a post I made in February in which I used "Tinypic" image host to display my work for logo contests.

Tinypic expired the picture after 90 days that I placed and re-issued the url to someone else.
That picture was displayed on DP and I got an infraction for that picture, not the Logo
which was there originally in February!

90+ days later I am getting an infraction. Are you serious?

 

I am using Tinypic to host many of my blogs images, and even many people use it.
But i never face such problem of expiring the image link.

seems bad luck is following you.
Now from next time just make sure that you host your logos on your servers. !!

Its your profession so do take some space for the logos to host.

Its just my opinion i dont know about the MODs reactions about this stuff.

 

I was using it also because it was really easy to simply post & paste a link.
I noticed that after a certain time that if the image wasn't viewed, it was
expired and the link was redistributed to other people. I wondered about
it... Found this information:

How long are images and videos kept?
Images and videos is in your account will not be removed. Images and videos that are not associated with an account are kept until they have not been viewed for 90 days. After 90 days, they may be removed.

I started using my own server in March to host my own images because it
gave more control over being able to remove content after a contest was
over on this forum and not display some stupid advertisement for the hosting
company I was using.

Certainly I can see if I had done something wrong I would deserve an infraction
but to come along in May and give me an infraction from a post back in Feb is
really quite ridiculous.

It doesn't take a rocket scientist, or even a person with an ounce of brains, to
figure out that the images linked currently in that thread were not uploaded by
me- they have nothing to do with logo's and other forum members would have
commented directly on it.
