Infraction for lowering the BIN?

    Hi,
    I received an infraction for posting "BIN lowered to $XX" on a auction. It was classed as bumping. Are you not allowed to update the threads?

    Ah ok, thanks Smyrl. I still feel I was updating the thread and not bumping :) I guess I wont do it again :S

    So its getting to the point where you cant even communicate with potential customers without worrying about it being taken as a bump.

    While I tend to agree with you, I like to thank people for their interest, show I'm still around and paying attention etc., ...

    Rules trump salesmanship here (lesson learned) and there's always pm to say "thanks for starting the bidding... yada yada" etc.,
