    Hi everyone,

Think its the right place to post this thread. I have a thread posted under buy/sell link which can be found at http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=4920203#post4920203

This is my first thread on DP wanting to buy links. I have seen on other threads where topic poster making comment on the thread saying something like "your PM has been replied to" or "i will send you PM" or something. I did the same thing responding to the comments on the thread itself as well as sending PMs. Members visitng my thread needs to know that I'm responding tho everyone's PM and comments.

I got infractions doing that and not sure how others do it as I've seen it on many other threads where topic starter comments on the thread saying "i sent you PM". What I'm I doing wrong?

Also, how does this infraction work? Is it a warning where my account gets banned after certain amount of infractions? I want to make sure I'm following DP rules while posting and be more careful in the future. I do not make any funny post and starting in Oct, already bought links from 12-13 people and only participate in discussions where I can add value.

    Thanks for your help.

Because other people do it, doesn't mean it's not against DPs rules. Eventually someone will report them and they'll get infractions too. Forget about it and move on. :)

As the members have stated, PM sent type messages are always subject to infractions. They are viewed as posts that have no value. Members received a popup when they receive a message so they know immediately when they are online or when they come back online.
