Infraction for bumping, but never bumped. Please explain

I got an infraction for bunping a thread. I did bump that one so I am ok.

However, I just got an infraction for bumping this thread. http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=8632368#post8632368

There are no bumps. As a matter of fact, I only replied once to the poster above me. What's the deal?
The infraction says private on my user CP, but the email they sent lists that thread above as the one I bumped.

 

This is not really something that you should discuss by opening a thread....its a surefire way of getting a 7 day ban.

 

You need to contact a mod directly. Starting a thread about an infraction will result in another infraction.

 

Sorry, I didnt know how to contact a MOD . I didnt know if the email address that sent me the notice was a no reply mailbox or not.

I am not mad about the infraction. That is not why I am posting, I just wanted to know what I did so I didnt do it again in the future.

I'm pretty sure starting a thread about infractions will get you another infraction and a ban ... read the introduction post in introduction thread.

 

Contact Smyrl on the link I posted. Tell her about this thread and ask her to close it. Not sure if she will still give an infraction but she is the best mod to deal with.

AGAIN, This was not to complain. I just wanted to know what I did so I didnt do it again.

 

Check the rules!

"- When you view your infractions and the post says "Private" it means that the post you were infracted for has been deleted. If the post has not been deleted, you should be able to click the link and view the post.

And finally, Do not start a thread about infractions. 99% off the people that do it are simply playing dumb and wasting the time of moderators. Starting a "I got an infraction!" thread will probably lead to another infraction. "
