Infraction Error

I am afraid there has been a mistake when it came to me receiving an infraction. I am not sure who the bright one is but on a post in the affiliate area I was updating the topic with new information when I was given an infraction for "bumping" the thread. The reality is I didn't care if anyone ever sees that post again. I was updating it with new found information I believed would serve other users some good (as well as the site in mention). This isn't the first time I have been given infractions for the dumbest reasons I have ever heard of.

I think there should be a way to challenge these "infractions" or at the least be contacted by the one who has issued the infraction so I could tell them my side of the story. It is like being issued a citation (especially when consequences occur due to the infractions) without me being able to fight it in court or explain it to the officer at the least. Now my recent post on the thread is deleted and there was important information.

This needs to be changed, I was not happy when I noticed this. It was unfair.
