As some of you may know, I have created a journal to show my progress with article marketing. Everyday I make a post that shows my updates and discusses recent findings in my journey. Every post is at least a few hundred words long, and is full of information.

I can understand that you want to keep spamming and such to the lowest level possible, but I am just trying to keep a log for everyone to see here at DP, and hopefully help people in the process.

I was given an infraction for several of my daily updates. I'd like to know why these are considered running up my post counts, because they aren't spamming in anyway.

How can I avoid them in the future for my thread/journal?

Here is the thread URL: http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=1477599

I think this is a bug, and I am not complaining. I just want to know how I can avoid them in the future so I can continue the article marketing journal.

    Thanks,
    BurtGummer

Do NOT post about infractions, you will now recieve more infractions or a ban, don't do it!! Read the forum rules!

Yea, I read them. But this has to be a bug of some sort, because the description for the type of infraction I received does not match my posts at all. I just want to know what I need to change so I do not receive further infractions for posting multi-hundred word updates.

I can tell you one reason; moderators are giving you infractions because you're creating back-to-back posts.

So, to avoid infractions, edit existing posts instead of creating new ones...you have eight hours to do so.

Also, this forum is not a blog. If you wish to create a journal of your business, put it on a blog, and link to it here in your signature or something.

Alright, I just didn't want to put a post that's supposed to be an update into another post that was hours before on a different subject....but if that's why I'll change it.

Thanks for your help, I appreciate it.

I'm still confused how my posts were considered of no value though.

There was still one that wasn't back to back but I still received an infraction, but the "upping post count" reason is still given. May I ask why? I also seem to not be able to edit 2 of my posts together. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

Yea, that post. Why is that bumping though? I didn't post any back to back posts. The post before and the post after are not mine. I've always thought the definition of bumping was to get your thread to the top and not provide any useful information.

I understand some of the other posts were bumping and will make sure it doesn't occur again, but that one post still has me confused.

    Thanks for your help though.
