I think one of the single factor responsible for information overload is that most people keep learning and acquiring information without taking action on the information already acquired. So, one of the ways to curb information overload is to take action on the information acquired to the anticipated result is achieved or not before going on to the next big thing the gurus like to make understand. Please, share how do you deal with your information overload.
Staying focused on what I want helps too. Then I don't sidetrack (as often). That's probably called: setting achievable goals. I have other things that I want to learn - later.
