Infolinks Low Pay Per Click, Is this normal?

I just started with infolinks and although I don't have much data, what I have is kind worrying. I got 3 clicks & only got 4 cents total.
I am wondering should I stay with them or try out adbrite for my inline links, do they pay better than this?

 

What is the best average pay per click from infolinks that you guys experience?

 

It depends on your niche, and the place you get traffic from.

Recession does seem to affected Infolinks a bit- advertisers are clearly not willing to spend as much as they used to previously.

I've got as much as half a dollar on one of my sites for one click once, but that is an exception.

 

I'm guessing its your niche. It might be a broad, generic niche that is already widely used....

I guess you can either try to grow/expand or find a smaller niche.

 

Yeah ok well my niche is computer related with keywords such as laptop etc. I thought that would be
a high paying niche, but at 1 cent per click i'm thinking I might ditch infolinks, but what are the alternatives?

 

I am getting even less than 1c/click. However they are still better than kontra IMHO.

 

They paid good at the beginning, but now they pay pretty low.
