InfoLinks - eCPM dropping over time with more traffic

    Hello,

I have had InfoLinks on my site for about 2 months now. During this time my traffic has increased significantly due to ranking higher in Google for my keywords, but my eCPM's are slowly dropping. How could this be if the only variable that has changed is traffic?

It seems like I may be getting cheated by them, but I want to see if there is a logical explanation before I go pointing fingers.

Columns - DateTime - Net Page Views - Ad Views - Ad eCPM - Earnings

Take a look at this screenshot from the end of January:

To be honest that is the scene across the board right now. Demand has dropped considerably across the industry and should be picking up in April.

The first few months of 2015 so far, are the roughest I have seen it in quite some time if ever.

@wrekoniz3 - Thanks for the reply. Why do you think it will pick up again in April?

Well firstly because April starts the 2nd Quarter. Demand usually picks up every year by april. The unusual part about this year so far, is that demand did not pick up as it usually does in/by february. April there are some big industry announcements coming, as far as changes to some of the biggest exchanges in the industry, and it will start forcing demand to legit traffic quite fast. With that said, the projections for April are looking good.
