.info w/ GoDaddy, waiting time, transfer and nameservers - Help?

    Can anyone explain me in brief? :)

    I want to buy an .info domain with GoDaddy (they have a nice deal .99/domain). I want then to use it in my account with my hosting provider. To transfer domain, I'll need to change nameservers.

    This is my question. WIll I be able to change nameservers on this .info domain immediately after my purchase or will I need to wait 60 days? What will be, then? If I purchase only domain with no hosting on GoDaddy? WIll I need to wait until I am able to transfer my domain to my own hosting account?

    You will be able to change the nameservers. You will not be able to transfer the domain out of GoDaddy for 60 days.

    Yeah! immediately you will be able to rename the nameserver according to your Hosting providing DNS :)

    Wow :) Thanks :)

    I've just have seen that I cannot take keyword.info, only keyword911.info but I still can register keyword.us
    I don't know what to do - either to save $$ and to register .info, or to get a .us domain .. hm... completely lost.

    Is .us better than .info?
