.info vs .org

Which extension is better and why?Thanks

 

Better for what?
If you have web site ready I suppose you already know which domain name extension is closer for you.

 

In term of value, I'd say .org is better IMHO

 

I don’t think that you’ll get any objective answer for this.

Here’s one subjective :

In my opinion, .org is better for its reputation, because due to its price it has less scam websites, than .info

 

Depends on the purpose of your site.... though people favour org more, simply because .info is considered cheap, because of the way it is priced!

.com as itself stands for commercial and don't go with .info, I've very bad experience with it.

 

This thread is not about any other extensions beside info or org. So which would be better for a commercial site if you had to chose between only one? Thanks

 

.org for me as it somehow dictates more authority over .info imo

You get for a domain what people are ready to pay for it. At present, people seem to be paying less for .info than for .org. This could change in the years ahead. Also, it depends on what domain you are selling. xx or xxx.info may be better valued by buyers than myxx or myxxx.org.

 

I have .org and good traffic

 

Depends of what you do with it, if it's business related I'd say .info, if it's an NGO or association or even a magazine I'd go with .org.

.info works pretty well in good ol' Europe

.org is better, i had a blog have alexa rank about 3million after 1 week athough it get traffic very small .
