Are .info TLDs ranked any differently to .coms and .nets. They were so cheap that I snapped up quite a few and now I plan to develop them, but I was wondering if its really worth my effort.

From experience, I find a lot of .ifo tlds to be spammer sites, not accused you of spamming or anything, so maybe that's why they were cheaper.

    Hope this helps :)

there is a lot of controversy surrounding this topic. some marketers are completely opposed to utilizing any extension other than .com, .org nad .net. on the other hand there is a growing group of marketers who are very much inclined to incorporating .infos.
    better do your due diligence

Although probably there is no difference with treating .info and .com by spiders, in the long term .info is a bit weaker than .com or .net
This is because humans prefer .com. When you put a post on .com domain is is retweeted, scraped by dozens of other sites, when you put a post on .info no one seems to take care. As I have skiitaly.biz, at the beginning I put the links to skiitaly.com myself, because it was a strange TLD for me to remember.
But there is not much difference overall.

Alll gTLD (com, net, org, biz, info) look the same in the eyes of Google. The thing is that people are used to com, net and org domain and that for type ins, com domains are the best.

only thing that can effect .info TLD rankings is human behaviour....search engine spiders should not make any difference to .info or any other TLD

Yes, .info and other ones like that are cheaper than .com since there are a lot more of them out there and .com are coveted by people.

It makes absolutely no difference in the eyes of google or any other search engines. .info are only cheap the first year, you'll notice the price increase next year, but .info is just as good as a .com in the eyes of google.

They might not be liked by people but for Google they are as good as dot coms!

FOr search engine .com or .net does not means any different, but\ for human, yes as .com is very general & if any one remember your company then first he may type yourcomanyname.com rather than your companyname.info.

There is no difference between .info or any other tld, do your Seo right and good backlinking and they will rank well.
