That is actually a good mention, something I forget. If privacy is important for anyone, remember .US has no Private Whois allowed.
This is the something that happened with the TV extension. It failed because the registration price is too high. If you have a lower registration price (.INFO for instance) then more people will use it, and internet users will identify with it better. Therefore INFO is way better, because there are many INFO sites but very few US sites.
Ive had bad experiances with .info. Search engines seem to hate them. I had real trouble getting google to index my pages at one point.
ya but all the info sites are made by a bunch wankers full of spam. You live Pakistan, your not even allowed to own .us it for .us residents only.
Yes, you're really talking about apples and oranges here. If these are your only choices, then if your site is for the US market, .us, otherwise .info.
.info is way better. The .us extention hasn't been that much of a success yet & only US people can buy it.
I'd say .info is better because more people recognize it. People outside of the US aren't that familiar with .us
