.Info or .Com On Google? Which Is Better...

    Purchasing a domain name to please search engines might not be the best tactic. .com is nicer for humans (.info is not so nice), so I'd vote getting a good .com name instead.

    But... in terms of search engines I suppose it doesn't matter. Links do.

    The problem is, (using Godaddy for example) .info domains are 99 cents or 2.99 the first year, but then 9.99 afterwards. Go with a .com and (with a coupon) you get them for 6.95 each year.

    So for long-term stuff, .com actually ends up being cheaper.
