.info Main Domain

    Hi,

    Presently, I'm with HostGator and my Main Domain is a .com, but I want to sell this domain. I'm think about changing my main domain name to a cheap .info in order to not have to change it every time I buy or sell a domain. Do you think this is a good idea ?? Can it hurt the traffic on my other .com addon domains ??

    As long as you dont have any type of wild card DNS records or redirection that would allow search engine spiders to crawl the subdomains of said .info domains there should be no correlation between the domain that is a main cpanel account and those that are add ons.
