I know .com is preferred but can I get away with using .info for mini-sites? Thanks all!

    Depends on the target audience.

I would use info sites for mini sites, my husband uses a info site and it's just as good as a .com

I think it can work. As long as the domain name is solid, you can have a .net .com .info I don't think you should have a problem with .info.

Yes, you can use .info domains for your miniu sites. I use them for my simple landing pages and they work well.

Yeah it'll work, but a dot info doesn't carry as much weight as a dot com if you're doing SEO... meaning that you'll rank higher with a .com than a .info in the search engines.

Some believe that info domains don't hold as much weight with google as .com domains.
