    Well , Yes Branding is important in todays world , if you are really aiming to be on TOP OF THE WORLD , Say example top brands names how do you recognize them its by name , Nike, Nokia, Apple, Google, reebok, addidas

    So branding is important then being general

    let say I try to sell a mobile to you with the name - India Mobile
    Or I try to see all a laptop to you with the name - newzealand laptop

    How would it sound ?

    .info domains are good as long as you update daily your website and have good content, advertise it on internet etc.

    I have such a domain, ewolf.info which has a lot of traffic.
