.INFO domains? are they any good for SEO? ranking?

    I always buy .COM's but how are .INFO domains? can anyone share experience with ranking a .INFO domain? is it harder? any issues?

    any successes ranking or making money from a site?

    .info is not good for SEO. While may hackers used .inof, it has a bad name. I let some of my .info domain expired

    i think .info domains are not good for SEO. Whatever its only my personal comment. you just ask to others too.

    It can be also good for SEO. The name is derived from information indicating that the domain is intended for informative Internet resources!

    I also heard that its Not good for Seo as compared to .Com, But Fortunately my site with .info domain is On first Spot at Google for keywords having Medium competition,

    I don't think Google treats .info domains any differently than .com. However people may view it differently because .info domains have a reputation for spam. Even if you rank well, a web-saavy person might not click on your result if it's a .info. If you have the chance the get the .com I would, but if it's thousands of dollars it might not be worth it.
