ok im not really into the whole internet business, but this is just out of curiosity, if i have a domain name called (for example, i dont really) "bia2.info" and there is a huge popular site called bia2.com, will bia2.info pop up in googles top search engines if the work "bia2" is typed in? i dont own any bia2 sites, just wondering :)

It is more likely someone type in whatever name dot.com rather than info.

I think there is nothing to do with the domain, it depends upon How well your website is optimized.

They both have an equal chance of ranking well depending on how well the Web site has been optimized; though you'll have more to fear from the .com's lawyers than Google if you use their domain name in an attempt to compete with them.

If you don't believe me, look up domain name trademark infringement.

Thanks for the help. I don't actually plan on doing this, just out of curiosity. :)
