    Hey again,

I would like to get some clarification about PR's as I am not familiar with it in very detail.

I get how it works, I read the official Google report, which included formulas and shit, but what I wanna know is:

    1. How do you exchange PRS ? Say I built up a new website - I got A PR of zero, so I can exchange links with zero PR rank dudes only ?

    2. How many links do I need to reach level 1/ 2/3, etc. ? When is enough to reach another level ?

    3. What is the difference between backlink and a link ? backlink is both ways, as like you add mine - I add yours ?

    4. Where exactly in the website PR's are added. Should ppl see them ? Or is it hidden in the source?

Thank you yo all brothers and sisters for ya answers yo ! (I'm not black, just like to talk like dat :D) yo !

    :)

You can never understand Googles algorithm for PR calculation. Dont bother about how fast you can get high PR, but keep promoting your site/blog and you will get your result for sure. U can promote by directory submission, blog commenting, social bookmarking, forum posting (like what i did here in this comment) etc.
Remember Google do not like link exchange so keep away from link exchange, if you exchange also it should be 3 way means you link to my blog A & i link to your blog B from my blog C.

    1. You can exchange link with any site, regardless of their PR. But higher PR of course better.

    2. There's no exact number , it's about quality

    3. Backlink, link, hyperlink are the same terms.

I got everything anwer except question 4. Cant find it in wikipedia, I searched.. :(

    so...
    4. Where exactly in the website PR's are added. Should ppl see them ? Or is it hidden in the source?
    ?

I realise backlinks can be left as e.g. in sigantures of forum members or by pasting a link in your website, but for example if I have a website, where is NO PLACE for showing other links, can I ADD A LINK TO SOURCE (hidden) and would it STILL count as that backlink is IN my website ?

First, PR is not something u added to ur website.

PR is a value given by google to ur website that all people can see it from the google toolbar installed on ur web browser.

the value it self depends on how many site linking to u and its quality.

About hidden link , you might find urself penalized by google if you do that.

Sorry, I expressed myself a bit wrong about PR. Yeah I know that's it's google's view to your website importance.

anyway, the hidden link question was answered perfectly ! Thanks man !

Good luck with businesses, guys !
