Well my pals, I have a query about google page rank system. Suppose my blog has many outbound links to blogs having good PR. Will It help my blog to gain PR? Thanks in advance.
PR are quality IBLs not outbound links... Focus more on organic one way links (IBLs) than acquiring OBLs....
You won't gain good PR if you have too many outbound links... You should focus more on gaining quality backlinks than giving links to others..
Outbound links means that you are the one giving a link to a site. It will not help your site on gaining a PR instead it will hurt your site. Your site are the one passing a link juice without gaining a link juice from them.
conversly, if having lots of low pr links on your site hurts why not the reverse-- [the author's query]? Q...
no they won't help you pr, but there is a "possibility" that linking to very relevant websites will help your rankings, but this is another discussion.
just build content and slowly build in- links and your site/blog/forum will do great. It took my forum about 2 months to get indexed and now many of the topics come up on the first page... sometimes even on google now that the forum is a little older
i think you need to read this - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PageRank its the best explanation on how PR works.
