    Commission Junction is an affiliate network.. a lot of affiliates like you and a lot of advertisers meet there.
    Advertisers offer commission on sale of their products and services, based on their terms and conditions.
    Affiliates agree to those conditions and promote those products on their websites. Yes, having your own website is must or otherwise stated in that advertiser's terms conditions.
    On every successful lead, or sale affiliates are paid the agreed commission.
    The payment is done via check if minimum payout ($100 probably) is reached.
