Influencing Adsense Results

Is it possible to influence Adsense results without audjusting the current content of the page in question, and if I have to audjust, only audjust it slightly?

    Heres the scenario:

All meta tags, heading tags, alt tags, etc are in place. Content is in place mixed in with my article. My page ranks number 1 on Google, gets say 50-60 visitors per day for this one page, however I am not happy with the sites that my Adsense code is showing.

I know very well that there are a lot of Adwords bids on this certain search phrase, and my article is optimised to the max, hence it reaching number 1 on Google for its desired choice, but only 1 result shows in my 336 x 280 ad format that is targeted exactly to what my page is written about. Surely with the amount of bids on Google I have seen then at least 3 out of 4 of my ads should surround that keyphrase, if not 4 out of 4?

I am generally happy with my CTR%, more than happy to be quite honest, but I still think that I can improve it more by getting more targeted ads on there.

My products go by the name of a fashion designer, and a product, for example I shall use Nike Trainers (sneakers). The top ad shows a site selling Nike Trainers, hence is very targeted and thats the ad that gets good CTR%. The next three ads show trainer shops, but not Nike Trainers. Now if I had a choice I would rather show ads that sell Nike products, due to brand loyalty, and I want to test if this can raise my CTR% whilst trying to keep my click commission similar or hopefully higher.

Would I have to insert the designers name more into my content to try at least to change some of the ads that show? So currently nike vs trainer is 40-60% of the keyword weight is trainers, would I change that around to have the word Nike appear more in my content?

Secondly, I typed the search phrase into Google in the UK and currently my adsense ads do not show the website that is bidding number 1 for that search term, why is this? My adsense ad unit is showing the 2nd result, and some result on page 3 that is pretty irrelivent to my content, hence maybe a low CPC. Is there any way I can influence my ads to show top results rather than crappy results 3 pages deep?

I hope this makes sense, but it seems the best way I can explain it

Thanks in advance, any advice is certainly appreciated :)
