Hi! It's well-known that in case your domain name includes keywords, it boosts your SERPs. So I am wondering whether the following combinations will give me a considerable impact in search engines, let's say my targeted keyword is "payday loans": 1) thepaydayloans.com 2) payday-loans.biz First one contains an extra word - "the", second one has a .biz extension and contains dash. I have found some attractive offers on domian auctions, but I want to be sure the domains are worth their price.
I will suggest you to include hyphen in your 1st domain and make it payday-loans.com or the-payday-loans.com if they are available. Or go for 2nd option i.e. payday-loans.biz
It's better to have your main keyword at the front of the domain but a .com is much better than a .biz Out of the 2, I would say that thepaydayloans.com wins paydayloansnow or paydayloanssite would be better though Try to avoid hyphens if you can IMHO
I think you should go with thepaydayloans.com. Because it is also with .com extension which helps to get results from globally
Yes obviously the main keyword in the domain name will give you an extra advantage to rank higher in the SERPs. Just take an example of my first site in my signature and try by yourself in google with the domain name it has. Without even starting my site, I am ranking on the 4th page of google for the desired keyword The first one in your two domain looks better, also try to get paydayloan.org, if possible !!!!
yes use keyword in your domain its helps site traffic add s , - , the, z, or use .com , .info, .org,biz try this
Both the domains are good for SEO point of view. But from other marketing considerations I shall prefer the .com domain.
Keyword in domain name will be a good thing. But only with this we can't get good SERP it need some more on page off page SEO. Search engine will give more priority for .com than .biz . I suggest you go for thepaydayloans.com
Looking towards SEO and SEM (google adsense), thepaydayloans.com would be good enough to get started rather going for .biz
I go with Seaman: if you find an available domain with your main keyword in the front of the domain it'll be a better choice. I say this because I already had some experience with "the" in front of keyword and it's a bit harder to get it on the main pages. But I think the first domain is better. A ".com" is always better than a ".biz" in these occasions.
According to one of Matt Cutts latest videos, Google is trying to not put as much weight in the keyword rich domain names in a near future algorithm update. I dont see how they can totally ignore it, but for now they work great!
Keywords in domains are always good as they help with the search engine rankings, but a brandable domain is better because it helps build the brand for your site. If you can find a name that is both brandable, and includes keywords, then you should register it.
Hi there, I personnaly also prefer .com domains. But once again, this will only be your starting point ( the domain ). You could have a non-keyword domain and rank much better for a specific keyword than the keyword domain name itself as you know.
