Feedback Infarction - no discussions

    Whilst I understand that the forum is large and predominately free to use I do find it frustraiting that there is no way to discuss or query an infarction you receive. Is it really the case that people dispute everyone? I'd have thought most simply put their hands up and accept their error and the majority that don't just want some clarity to prevent them making the same mistake again.

    I receive my first ever infarction and it says it is for "spamming" but the thread it links to I cannot view (says I dont have permission) and I know I reported that thread as spam and did not write on the thread itself so cannot see how I spammed other than by using the report thread tool?

    Can a mailbox not be set up for queries/ disputes? I'd not like to leave Digital Point but at the moment I am very annoyed and the no discussion element is fueling it rather than releaving it.

    Completely feel your pain my friend. I've been dinged for "hijacking" a thread. It was someone looking to buy links, so I posted a very relevant link directory of mine that was free. Obviously an overworked mod who either wasn't paying attention or having a bad day. Don't get too worked up. It happens to the best of us. :)

    Your infraction was reversed before you posted this since it was accidental. It should say reversed on your infraction page.

    LOL, that explains my last 2 point infraction for making a joke.
    Mod without any sense of humor gave me one accidentally.

    I would like to see something similar. I have received one infraction in total in my time at Digital Point, and it was later reversed due to a Moderator error. But a mailbox to use to clarify things regarding infractions is an excellent idea in my opinion, and could decrease the amount of threads made on DP regarding infractions.

    seems like no one has got much sense of humor: mods, shawn and other members including me. So what kind of comedian you are ? :confused:
