My biggest plan to increase my sales is to have my website professionally redesigned as my current design (see signature link) is atrocious which I think will help considerably but won't be done for a few weeks. What would be the best ways to increase my traffic and ultimately sales in the meantime (something with results that happen in a week or less)? I'd want things that cost $20 or less, unless the chances of it paying for itself are very high then I'll go higher. My budget is low at the moment as I have a few large bills to pay but within a few weeks I will have a higher budget to spend but would still like to do things now to increase my sales. I currently get around 300 hits a day. Thank you
Do you think this is a good deal? http://www.ebay.com/itm/50-500-hits...454?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item4cf74c8c1e If not what would be a better traffic purchase deal? Can I expect purchased traffic to bring in sales directly or do they only help with page ranks? Also, how does google know how much traffic my page gets anyway? Thanks
Buying traffic directly may help alexa rankings, but in my experience doesn't do much for sales. The method I've (as well as countless others) have used most successfully is to give visitors a free gift related to your niche through a squeeze page. Then you've given them something of value, and have them on your list. Relationship building 101.
I think changing your layout into a nice, organized, professional looking site will do tons to help you boost your product's sales. As for getting traffic and conversion, you have to think about what your problem your product helps solve and who your target market is. What keywords are you ranking for or are trying to rank for? Make sure your website is optimized for those keywords and then build backlinks to your site by participating in blogs/websites that are related to your product's niche. Ultimately, I think that Hope that helps. Have a good day!
My website ranks in the 1st page and often number one on google but only for keywords very specific to my product like "auto bidder software" and the #1 google search that people click into my site is not surprisingly "auction auto bidder" from people who are obviously already aware of my product. What I want is to in the top results for more general terms like "auction sniper" which will be people that aren't already aware my software exists. How do I get in the first results for more general terms about what my software does? That's what's going to bring me lots of traffic. Thanks
You can also recruit a freelancer at a fixed price to drive traffic to your page and see the result for 1 or 2 weeks and if happy then go for long term contract with that freelancer.
You can build links to your site but ofcourse its a slow process to get traffic. However if you do it well, you can seethe results for a long time to come. For faster results, you can use social marketing i.e. promoting your site through Facebook fan Pages, twitter, Youtube. It also depends on the niche, if the niche doesn't have too much demand then no matter what you do, you are not going to see much traffic. Regards,
I'm thinking you need to put more content into your site then, like articles that are optimized for "auction sniper".
Would I need to write the articles myself or can I find some that I would be allowed to publish on my site? Thanks
You can utilize PLR and do some quick rewrites to target your keyword. You might want to do edits to optimize for on page SEO as well. Keyword in title, first sentence, 1-2% KW density and the like. Otherwise, you can write it yourself or hire a ghostwriter to do it for you.
I would also try to get trafic from the social networks. You could also create some blogs around the topic or post articles on directories. You can easily outsource the article writing
I would use text instead of the logo and the words Automatic auction bidder. I would also use Automatic auction bidder as the title of the site. Would a redesign of the site do good? Check out some HTML5 based sites around the web. Do a websearch, be inspired. The service sounds really interesting.
When you redesign your site make sure you do basic on page search engine optimization for the keywords where you want to rank. Build out pages on the topics where you want to rank. Then do some link building back to the pages and also general marketing using forums in your niche, social bookmarking, etc. If you have a good site with a good product you'll get some natural links and social bookmarks as a result. From there you just wash, rinse, and repeat...and watch your traffic grow.
you can post comments to at least 100 blogs that related to your niche. Must be regular check uptodate contents at the blogs for the commenting.
u redesign ur website, when u redesign ur website make sure you do basic on page search engine optimization for the keywords where u want to rank.Built out pages on the topic where u want to rank. Also try to get traffic from social networks. You could also create some blogs around the topic/post articles on directories. You can also go for article writing .All the best..
You can have someone write for you by supplying them with your keywords and what the article is about. Some use PLR articles that have been rewritten and optimized with their target keywords.
Yes, get your website redesigned. You could probably get a cheap price off of an IT student on ebay or on similar student web design forums. I'd stay away from the traffic purchase deal one person suggested. These traffic deals are useless, untargeted visitors. You need people who want to visit your type of website to come. this is best done through the search engines as the visitors search for keywords related to your website.
Get backlinks on a consistent basis. Put high quality content on your site. Make sure your on-site and off-site SEO is well carried out. That will help a lot in the meantime.
