Here's a "banned" question I have not heard before. A few days ago I received an email from AdSense asking me to revise some pages (specifically www.schrockinnovations.com/removepopcorn2.php) on one of my sites because ads were not being displayed in a manner consistent with Google's policies. I made modifications to the page to remove images that were positioned too close to some of the advertisements. I thought I had resolved the issue, but apparently I was wrong. Today Google removed all advertising from my website and gave me a mild heart attack when I saw the "You are forbidden" messages on my pages. I logged into my account and my other sites are still serving ads and earning revenue. Google did not tell me what the exact problem was with my site, so I went back and made even more changes like adding separating lines between all ads and content so it would be PERFECTLY clear that ads were ads and content was content. I have sent an email back to Google thanking them for their time and asking them to reevaluate my website, and specifically the sighted page. I would appreciate any input from others who have had an individual site banned from AdSense. I DO NOT want to hear from people who were completely banned. This is not a click fraud issue, and I have not generated false clicks on my own ads. Specifically, I would like to know if Google will restore service to a site it has banned from Adsense if whatever issue they had with it is resolved to their satisfaction. Thanks for your help guys!
Okay, here is my situation with that. Don't know if its exactly the same. But... I purchased a website off of someone. I added my adsense to them and not 2 days later I received an email from google stating that my adsense account was banned for using it on a site previously had been banned. I emailed them and told them I had just purchased the site from someone and knew nothing about when he/she had it. They then reactivated my account but told me I wasn't allowed to place ads on that particular site. I know this is a little different then your situation however I think it does show that they can ban just a single website/page. Hope this helps.
Yes, I do know they can do this, but my major question is why did they do this after I made changes to clarify anything that could have been construed as placement of ads that was not compliant with their guidelines. I will bend over backwards and kiss my own butt if they asked me to, but I am at a loss with regard to the problem with the page they provided.
Well really only they could answer that question. Google is just funny sometimes when it comes to banning a site or user and never letting them have another chance lol.
