Individual click analyzer/statistics

    I was just wondering if there's a tool somewhere that allows you to see the location and perhaps other stats of those that clicked on my ads. I'm just wondering where my clicks are coming from. Mostly out of simple interest really.

    I'm pretty green in this stuff (started adsense just over a week ago) and the terms and techniques used are still shrouded in mystery for me. :eek:

    I already have a statcounter account to analyze my website's visitors. However, I can't find where to get more info. All I can find is the Exit Links (Activity) stats it offers, but that only shows the links that have been clicked. No geographical stats of any kind. Or am I just missing something?

    I've tried that yesterday, but I couldn't get it to work for some reason. Does it conflict with statcounter perhaps?

    Statcounter is good. On "Exit Link Activity", in the left of the exit link, you have a magnify icon. Click on it and you will get the information needed. Also, on the top of the table is write: "TIP - If the magnify icon appears beside an exit link entry, it means there is more info available about that visitor in your log. Click it to find out more!"

    @sseicu: thanks! That helps!
    Do you know why there's no magnifying icon in front of some links? There are some Adsense exit links that don't have a magnifier and apparently these aren't counted by Adsense either. Do you know what causes it? Lately I've been seeing a lot of adsense exit link activity on statcounter, more than shown by Adsense. Google screwing me over?

    I consider that statcounter reports are very good. The differencies between Statcounter reports and Adsense reports are because Google Adsense sometimes show unpaid publicity. You can configure your adsense to show a custom color instead of unpaid ads if relevant ads aren't available.

    Alright, so statcounter is accurate.

    What's the advantage of that custom color exactly? Will it somehow increase revenues or?

    You can embed your adsense on your analytics. There, you can track your clicks.

    If you will use a custom color, you won't have unpaid clicks. If statcounter will show you 50 clicks on ads than you will have 50 paid clicks.

    Ah I get it. Well, it'd be a pitty to have an empty black box in my side bar, so I'll just leave it as it is.
