Indians : Withdraw from PayPal!

Today I have seen that the USDollar - INR exchange rate from paypal is higher that anything else.

    PayPal :
    Exchange Rate : 1 U.S. Dollar = 40.5600 Indian Rupees

    Xoom :
    Current Exchange Rate:
    US$ 1.00 = INR 39.1294

So I think this is the best time to withdraw!

    No shreyas thats not true.

Xoom updates the price daily. Yesterday they offer 1$=39.27 INR and today they offer 1$=39.12 INR. There is always difference of +-.12 to .15 INR.

Hello Shreya & Priya, Dollar rate never crossed Rs.41 in last two months. I read in many magazines that this will continue for another 4-6 months. If dollar rate increases, everyone would be happy. I would be one of the members to gain more money. Who wants to lose extra money?

Xoom service is reliable one many of my contacts are utilizing it to get Paypal funds converted to INR. If we have similar trusted exchange service for Moneybookers, Alertpay, Egold with standard rates, it would be better. Paypal is a good option for Indian members.

I agree to you as far as the paypal review is concerned. Regarding zoom, well I have not tried the service. But zoom have high exchange charges. Also zoom service is available via certain banks which is not easily and has a lot of bank formalities. Correct me if I am wrong.
